I'm looking to add an icemaker to my older GE fridge. It says it takes a IM1 on the back :shock:

so I'm sure any newer model would work with what I've read. Anyway, I see the IM6 is not well liked so what previous model is better?

IM5SS

Looks like you can get IM3s on eBay fairly often. The don't have a water level sensor or temp. sensor so would a IM4/5 be better?
