 I think I lucked out on this one.  While I was defrosting the coils, I bumped one of the wires to what looks like a thermocouple and it came apart.  (Schematic calls it the "Defrost Term")  Reconnected and all seems to work, freezer temp at 15 degrees with setting at mid range.  Will check it again in about a week to see if I have a blizzard on the coils.  Now I just need to fix the icemaker as it still isn't working.
