 This is my first time to this site.  What a great resource!!

Thank you all for taking the time and effort to provide this information, it has saved me a ton.

I also have this light problem with my LG, and after reading through this wealth of information, I'm not surprised.   The Omron spec sheet for this G5NB relay indicates that the "Max. switching power" rating for the contacts is 90W.  LG is using these relay contacts to switch 120W worth of light bulbs.  We may get better life out of the next relay by changing out the two 60W bulbs with 40W bulbs.

I haven't tried it yet, but I should still be able to see the mold on that loaf of bread that's still in there.
