 So here I am, a few laundry loads later. The dryer has definitely improved and things seem ok with it for now.

BUT... as I sit on this computer only about 15 feet from the dryer, I am getting that strong odor again!!! It is not in the dryer. The origin is somewhere in the house and I can only smell it inthe basement. My basement is not big. I live in a quad level. It's only half the house. About 20 X 26 feet. I have stuck my nose in every nook, cranny, and over the entire basement and I can NOT find where this is coming from.

I'll be sitting here and get a whiff of it. I'll turn my head to try and pinpoint the direction and it kinda goes away.

I realize there is nothing anyone can do to help. I just needed to vent (no pun intended) and I decided to do it here LOL!!!

What the #*(+)(@# is this smell???????????????
