I thought so to. But there's mention of a 12 year warranty up thread. I have time to deal with the larger problem of the freon leak. I can call Sub and also check the paperwork I may have stashed somewhere AFA purchase date.

For now I'll replace the fridge fan and switch, have them now. At least it's nice to have a parts distributor about a mile away.
