Not to dredge up old threads along with the gunk in my pump but this has been a huge help so far. I've done the above but I keep flooding the laundry room because one of the hoses pops off the pump. Am I just being a lame n00b getting the clamps on correctly, or would it be better if I replaced the spring-type thumb clamps with screw-type hose clamps? I use those on my aquarium setup and there's no leaks there so far. ;)
