I found this post to be EXTREAMLY helpful! My symptoms exactly matched Scotty's in that the freezer was very cold, but the fresh food side was barely cold. A thermometer showed it chilling down only to the high 40's F. My frige is a GE side-by-side model TFX22CRDA WW I checked the damper up top and it was clear, no blockage. Same for the air return down by the veggie drawer. I pulled the ice bin out and removed the fan guard. the fan was spinning but when I put my hand above it, there wasn't much airflow. Hmmm. Empty the freezer and remove the back panel per the suggestions posted in this thread and here is what I found!
