I would just use the permagum fix, it has always worked fine for me and you won't risk accidently bending and crimping off the aluminum evaporator tubes trying to get the drain though out, (I only put a strip of permagum across the divider between the drain cup and air diffuser, not all the way around the stryofoam insert).

The control consule is on the roof of the refrigerator, (you know, the part in the center with the CONTROLS on it!!!!).  Once you remove the 4 screws from that and drop down a little in front and slide forward and unplug molex connector, and you will have the complete consule out to do the permagum fix as in fig#2 in the second post with pictures.

The ferrule is about 1/8" to 1/4" longer and actually extends down into the drain cup in the control consule so that water doesn't wick over and into the air diffuser channel and into the refrig.
