Ever tape wires together one day that you ( or another Tech ) were going to untape the next day.........Be a pal... Fold over the last little segment of the tape to make a flag. Then you know where to start from with out slicing the old piece of tape off and possibly nicking the wire jacket..... ........... I prefer to use the good stuff, a bit more pricier but is better than the 99 cent rolls

This is standard procedure for us electricians. It's never mentioned or marvelled at since it's just what's done. And that tape, well, sadly, cheap employers rarely buy that. The place I am at right now does though.
