Hello Honorable Repairasan
I have a Kenmore front loading washer < 8 months old, model 41744052401
The machine won't start, the error code seems to be right most lights all lit and one beep (over and over again).  From the manual, this apparently means the soap dispenser door/drawer is open.
We have had problems where this dispenser door cover separates from the drawer itself...so I plan to have that part replaced as it is under warranty.
Still, I'd like to get to washing

Below is the diagram for the drawer, but I can't figure out where the reed switch is that controls when the dispener is open

please direct me in the way of victory!

thank you
p.s. I found a small rectangular magnet on the ground...I think this is just something from someones pockets...but if this is a magnetic switch, maybe the magnet has fallen out of the drawer...can't see where it might belong however.

Magnet should be on the drawer, but the drawing doesn't show it. Check the right hand side of the drawer. This seems to be a common problem on these newer Friggidaire front loaders.

Mad Mac,
Thank you very much for your advice!  That was all it took for me to find the right location for the magnet. I'm back to washing again!
I've included an image of the magnet now in place, hoping to help the next grasshopper to wander this ugly path.

It's funny Fridigidare removed this circut on the new boards.

I think you can just splice the two wires on the reed switch to solve your prolbem

for good.

But just as in case leave enough wire to replace it if nessary.

Some unit will not function unless the switch is cycled. (Only some computer models)

Others will work flawless.
