My maytag lsg7806aae is leaking when it fills.  I took off the front and it does not look like the tub seal, pump or drainage hose are the problem.  The leaking seems to be coming from inside the machine, it does not look like the hose.  Could it be the blue plastic valve and how do i fix it?

The water comes from the valve (Blue thing) up to a white plastic piece called a water flume. This is a two0 part plastic piece that allows water to cascade into your unit. If it become broken or separates, you will leak. You will have to pull the unit forward far enough to raise the top. It hinges to the left. After you have it out. There will be two 3/8 screws that go up from the cabinet up to the top in the front corners, and two that go down from the top to the cabinet in the rear accessed through two round holes in the top. We are going to want to narrow it down to find your leak.

Ha! I fixed it myself!  I replaced the hoses and the clamps that connect the fill hose in the machine to the valve and the outlet.  I went to buy a new valve and the guy in the store pointed out that if the water shuts off when the machine is turned off it's not the valve -Duh! how could I not think of that!?! So $21 later my machine is back to new!
