My Whirlpool Senseon Dryer (electric), has been shutting off soon after I start it, at any temp. range. I go to the laudry room and its always flashing this E1 error code. Does anyone know what this means, and what to do about it?

Model # GEX9868JT0

E-1 is an open thermistor,  not a hard thing to replace,  I believe on your model it is located behind the rear panel on the blower housing..It's possible the Samurai has some pictures you can look at. Ron

No pictures but Ron is right on:  bad thermistor.  Replaced a bunch of 'em.  Two swigs (not mugs!)on the SUDs-o-meter

Just remove that front bottom quarter panel and the thermistor is behind that flange on the right hand side of the innards.  You'll see two roundish things there each with two wires sticking out of 'em.  The thermistor is the closest one to you.
