Model 92283100 washer will work on cold fine. If set for the WARM, it will pull cold water. If set for the HOT it will not pull any hot water. I gripped the 2 hoses feeding it. The cold was quite cold and the hot was hot. :(

Hot water valve might be burned out. Remove the washer cabinet and use your ohm meter to check its resistance. Compare with the cold water valve-- they should be about the same.
