So glad I foiund your site, and will glady donate Beer Funds! My Dryer (Washer/Dryer combo), is making a screeching sound mixed with grinding. To be honest it sounds like a necklace, or something of an unknown origin is caught in the dryer. I need to know what I have to do to see what is in there. I mean do I take it apart? Or take it to the back yard and blow holes thru it with the .357? How do I do this?

these units are notorius for eating the front and rear bearings... no way i would open this up without replacing both... go to repairclinic.com and search yer model#...it is no accident that the first two parts listed are the ones you need. not the easiest repair in the world but i'm sure you can get thru it with our help
