I have a Frigidaire top load washer, model number FWSB7800DS0, that won't fill with water. Temperature doesn't matter. It will, however, cycle normally when turned on. It's happened once before and our repair technician only took 10 minutes to fix it. He told my wife that he had to go in and reset a switch. Does anyone have a clue as to what could be wrong or what he did to fix it? All responses are appreciated.

It will Agitate without water ? May be a clogged Tube that connects the Water Level Pressure Switch to the Tub. Disconnect the Tube from the Water Level Switch (in the Control Panel) and blow through it. No too hard, but make sure it's still connected to the Tub.

Yes, it agitates without water. From what I can tell, the tube doesn't seem to be clogged. Thanks very much for the reply.

If you disconnect the Tube. it shouild fill, but never stop filling .. OR it would be a bad Water Level Switch ... If you blow into the Switch once, it should click and start filling, or stop Agitating click on picture ![]()
