Originally I had a E3 error. After much research I found its either going to be the control board or the motor itself. Symptoms seemed identical to what I was reading about control boards.... so I ordered one from an eBay vendor. Now when I put the board in, it gets a DL error.... which refers to the door lock. I put the old board back on and it works (however it will probably get the e3 error at some point). With the new board on, it does lock the door prior to getting the DL error. I also noticed something interesting. The quick wash cycle displayed 29 minutes on the old board, and 33 minutes on the new board. I was wondering if there is some programming mismatch on the board. I verified that the eBay purchase said it was for the MAH2400AWW. Any ideas? I did not perform any checks on the board itself. I'm having trouble finding the service manual for this unit and the test sheet. I saw links on here, but I couldn't open them.

I did check the connections before for the E3 error. Is there a way to upgrade/downgrade the software on the control board? I'm thinking something is different with the programming on the Control board... especially since I noticed the timing of the QuickWash cycle is longer. Maybe I'm parking up the wrong tree there. Like I said... when I put the old board on, I don't get the DL error for Door Lock. With the new board, the door locks but still comes up with the DL error.

Get the tech sheet for your washer and ohm out the motor windings, comparing to the spec in the tech sheet. Make sure your meter is zero'd properly and the measurement be pretty much right on with the spec. Look for any signs of past water leaks on the motor: white powder residue, etc.

You know where I can get the tech sheet? Is this to address the E3 error the DL error? Or both? I know the E3 error has to do with the motor control.... but I'm trying to get this new control board to work and getting the DL error with it.

Tech sheet is located behind the control panel. Remove top panel to get to it. You'll need to troubleshoot.
