I have an Amana dryer model LE8107W2. I replaced the circuit board / timer and it is still doing the same thing. It will buzz if the knob is pushed and held in but it won't come on. It used to buzz for a few seconds and then come on but not now. What do you suggest next? Should I just leave the new timer on or return it. It was $120 from Pepairclinic.com. Will you save me please.

Sounds like you have a bad motor. I would return the timer.

Open the door, have someone hold the start button in while you hold the door switch in and turn the drum at the same time. Will the dryer start this way? If so the motor is definitely bad.

Make sure you're getting a full 120vac to the motor. Sounds lie you might be getting junk voltage.
