well the old mayag washer #B210 started to leak last week after 30 years of no problems opened it up and found that the injector nozzle and valve on the fill hose was leaking badly to get it going i installed a straight coupling the washer seems to fill faster and quieter than before my question is will i be causing more problems by bypassing this part and should i just order and install a new injector nozzle? based on what i read on this forum i want to keep this old machine going vs getting a new one every 5-8 years any thoughts? thanks bucko

No, you can bypass that injector without any problem.
