Hi, I have a front loading Equator Washer/Dryer All In One unit that' s making a metalic scraping sound as the drum rolls back and forth. The sound is faint during the wash & dry cyles, but louder during the spin cycles. It sort of sounds like a cordless drill being operated, when the unit goes to the spin cycle. I watched the Samurai's video about bad bearings on a front load unit, but that sounded sort of like a helicopter. Thump, thump, thump. Mine sounds more like a jet engine, or a drill being operated, increasing in pitch when it's is spin mode I took the belt off, rotated the drum and motor shaft by hand...there was no noise. But when I replaced the belt and rotated the drum by hand the noise returned. The sound seems to be coming from the rear of the drum I hope you guys can help me. Thanks

i am not too familar with your unit... if the noise went away with the belt off then is it possible you are hearing the noise from the motor? try to turn the basket pulley and see if you hear it... then turn the motor pulley by hand.
