My dryer can now run fine; the drum turns and it heats up. Except that occasionally the drum will not turn. It will make the Hmmm; click sound. According to the troubleshooting FAQ, that means the motor is burned out. However, if I open up the top and push the drum a little, it will get going and work fine. What could this be? It is relatively new (3 yrs). The belt seems tight. I can't check to see if the motor can't turn or if it is spinning on the belt before it gets going; I would need to pull off the front and then drum could not turn. Any suggestions what might be happening? thank you.

When your pushing the drum to start the unit is this while the door is shut and your holding the start button down? If so, your motor is bad.
