Hi Problem: 'Control Locked' light is ON. I am not able to use the Dryer Solution Attempts: - I tried holding 'Control On/Off' button for 3, 5, 10.. even 30 seconds, as per recommended solutions on the forums, but the Control Locked light will still not turn off. - I tried turning off the power to the dryer for a few minutes. The Control Locked light is still on. Request: Please tell me if there is anything else I should try, to fix it, before calling a technician. Thank you so much for this super useful forum!

Correction: - I pressed the 'End of Cycle' button for 3, 5, 10... even 30 seconds. But did not fix the problem.

you could try disconnecting the plugs from the control and reconnecting, but your probably going to need a new control.

Sounds like you're going to need a new touchpanel-- it's no longer respnsing to inputs. Been seeing a lot of this lately. Here's the link to the platinum panel: http://www.repairclinic.com/SSPartDetail.aspx?s=t-GEW9250PW1-%3d%3dc13i1060819&PartID=1060819 And here's the bisque: http://www.repairclinic.com/SSPartDetail.aspx?s=t-GEW9250PW1-%3d%3dc13i1060820&PartID=1060820
