Washer sometimes stops mid-cycle. Holding Start/Cancel gives and E52 error code, which I believe is a bad signal to the tachometer. How can I fix this without paying an arm and a leg?

Unplug the harness from the motor With you meter measure resistance between pins 4 and 5 on the motor. If your readings are between 105-130 then you will need a new speed control board. If your reading were not between 105-130 then you will need a new motor. Motor Control Board Link Drive Motor Link ![]()

Thank you! How do I get at the control board? Can I easily access it by taking the panel off the back, or do I have to go in from the top? In your post you referenced the speed control board, but the picture you posted is of the motor control board. Are those the same thing?

Yep, the speed control and motor control are the same things, and you access the board from the rear.
