This washer doesn't kick out of the pause for spin. I've read some topics on this but couldn't find it here. I  believe it's the  timer but can someone enlighten me on the concept of how this works...? didn't come across this for a while now. thanks again.

Sounds like the timer is bad...check to see if the timer motor is getting 120 VAC during the pause. If it will wash and if you put it on spin and it spins then the timer is bad

Thanks for that info., very informative. I have 110v. to the timer motor. Why though if I put it in wash(agitate) and then to spin(and it spins) then the timer is bad.? are you saying that if..there is 110v.going to the
T-M and it spins, then the timer would be bad? That would seem like the timer is operating correctly.

Does the Timer pause the Washer Motor for a few seconds after Drain ?

(or you could simulate the Timer pause by lifting the Lid)

Well yes, the timer pauses after drain and keeps pausing & pausing until I lift the lid.

The customer has said that it remained running after drain but did not spin for probably an hour or more. thanks.

Yes again, it will spin when lifting the lid up just once .

It's actually in a garage where the temperature is above 83-93 deg.

during the day and 68-74 deg. @ night so it doesn't get cold.

I'm going out there sometime this week w/a new timer. Will post back.
