OK so we need the plulley only from this part
http://www.repairclinic.com/SSPartDetail.aspx?s=t-PAV2300AWW-%3d%3di1023733&PartID=1023733

We have a Maytag Performa PAV2300AWW

Is it possible to just buy the pulley and not the whole motor?

Thanks and loved reading you disclaimers

Cindy

Take a look at these two discussions.  They should have all the info you need.

http://applianceguru.com/view_topic.php?id=24715&forum_id=2&jump_to=154062#p154062

This one is in the DOJO, which you may not have access to:
http://applianceguru.com/forum3/25913.html

Here's a copy & paste of my post in that discussion:
You can still get the 12002815 pulley kit (2 pulleys, use the one you need and save the other), at Sears or on Ebay - everywhere else they sub the pulley kit to the complete motor.

 Ebay - $17.94 + 9.69 shipping

Sears - $23.00 + 8.99 shipping (-$2.30= 10% with discount code PARTS). http://www.searspartsdirect.com/partsdirect/parts/12002815/0026/464

I just installed one of these last month, (used the "21001108 black" in place of the original yellow pulley). The black pulley is just slightly smaller then the original yellow pulley and I used the same belt and didn't have any problems. Econo Appliance if you can find the part number for the slightly smaller belt I would like to see it posted here for future reference. Thanks.

If you order the 21001108 Pulley, it will work

Thank you. Can I assume the pulley you have referred to here will not have to be adapted or anything to install? I have in it my cart along with a part my dishwasher has needed forever.(Part 1566999) Now I just need my deposit to hit my bank account or something to sell on ebay. This is great that you have this forum. Thanks again
