Christmas Day our dryer went out/doesn't heat. I did clothes the night before and everything was fine. What part should we try to replace to get it back working? We checked our circuits because we understand some dryers work off of 2 breakers - everything fine there. Any advice - the dryer is only about 5-6 years old. This year alone our washer, refrigerator, and dryer went out!!

Thanks for any advice-

It does tumble.  We checked the vents and all seem clear. We checked the outside vent and air is coming out. ??? Wondering if we should try to replace the heating element first??
