is the Motor Shaft turning ? (Motor Pulley may not be turning because of Clutch problem)

if clutch is bad you can see the motor shaft turn but not the pulley.

Yes it fills, agaitates, drains, but no spin.I,m not sure what hums. When you put it on spin or when the timer takes it to spin nothing, just HMMMMM like something cannot go.

is this the same washer from 3 months ago ? http://applianceguru.com/view_topic.php?id=20361&forum_id=2 If the Motor is humming, it could be a bad Timer

If the Motor Agitates OK .. but in Spin the Motor is "hummimg" then could be the Timer .. I don't have a wiring diagram for that model, unless you could upload one ... but if you could measure the voltage at the Start and Run Winding of the Motor while in Spin ...

Have gotten the timer in and put it on and motor, still no go just hums.I checked the capacitor and it checks ok with a capacitor tester. Now unlike before I have voltage to the motor connector on the blue wire and on the red wire.Must be motor time Huh?I turned the clutch and belt and it is free. What do you guys think?

No nothing stuck between tub and basket,I checked that also.I can turn the pulley belt and clutch by hand from underneth,(the CCW direction spin I think is harder than the CW direction, but I can turn it.)I can also turn the basket from uptop. What do you think is wrong here?

Have you tried this only in Permanent Press Cycle ? Check to see if it Agitates and Spins in the Delicate and Normal Cycles ...
