I just bought this washer at an auction used but was suposedbly working but it's not. Gibson GWT445RFS0 inside the door it says it is a White Consolidated Industries product. White Westinghouse? The washer does run all the way thru all cycles until it gets to the final or fast spin then it spins slow, then stops, then spins slow again and it repeats this patern several times then it ends the cycle. Clothing is still very wet at the end of the cycle. I did take off the hoses and cleaned out the pump which did have lots of lint and about 70 cents and a guitar pick in it! The impeller seem to be fine and spins with no problem.

turn it to spin, after a minute see if you can open the door immediately after turning machine off. yes - door latch problem no - most likely speed control board

Thank you so much for a quick reply. Door does open right away not super easy but I dont have pull real hard either. Where would I find a part number for that. The part on the door itself looks fine no cracks or breaks. Also may need diagram on how to replace if possible. Thank you so much for your help

i believe i was wrong about the door latch. upon further inspection it seems your machine does not have a wax motor in the door latch as the newer ones did. disregard previous post. still think its the speed board or the latch. perhaps the info regus posted will assist you in determining the offending part.
