Regular cooking oil is an excellent desudsing agent, just like in a dishwasher. also, out here in the rfds we occasionally run into low system pressures intermittantly causing water inlet valves to drip by or not function properly, just like the dreaded icemaker overfill intermitantly caused by self piercing bullet valves, which ought to be outlawed. for my money and time, i would go out to the truck and grab a water inlet valve just to rule it out. short money dont you know. Ill just sit on my hands and see how this plays out. Happy hunting!
