having a problem with clothes not smelling clean-even when using hot water. hot water doesn't seem to be hot enough-think its because of the cold water addition whcih the machine does (but I'm not positive,,,). remember the smell you get when leaving clothes in the washer for 4-5 days? that's the smell we have often. Is there valve that may be bad or something else which may not be allowing all of the dirty water to be evacuated from the machine?

any help or advise would be appreciated as we will likely take the machine back within 2 days (end of 30 day period from local store). Otherwise, this is a wonderful machine and is super quite!
thank you

You can adjust the Hot temp in the options adjustment mode, which will be in your user manual/book.  In NZ, we usually wash in cold water only, so I dont think the temp is the problem.  How old is the powder you are using, as this can be a factor.

the detergent is new-liquid form though, not powder.

I'll take a look at the manual to determine how to alter the hot water.
thanks

Borrow some powder detergent from someone and try it before taking it back,  just in case....

If machine is only 30 days old the smell will not be coming from the machine. try leaving some water in a bucket for a day or two and see if it starts smelling. it may be something in your water. alternately make sure the end of the drain hose is not too far down the drain that it can siphon dirty water back into the machine:)
