Frigidaire Stack washer dryer combo. The washer has pumped out the water, but will not spin. The belt is in tact/not broken.
What do we need to look for to rule out transmission/clutch etc.....

7 people in a home can add laundry up quickly! Any advice is appreciated!

do you hear the motor running in spin? if yes, see if you can turn the tub  counterclockwise .. if it will turn then remove the belt and look for burn spots. if it's not running then i would check the lid switch.

There are no burnt spots in the belt. IT is not the lid switch. If you take the belt off, the motor will spin slowly. If you put the belt on, the motor will not spin, and makes a burning smell.

Sounds like you done found the problem. If the motor is getting a valid power supply (120vac) and is unable to perform under normal load, then bad motor.

Easy to get to but can be a mutha to change due to rust on the motor shaft that is direct connected to the motor. This diagram will hepya. Persevere and ye shall overcome!

Take the belt off and try to turn the motor pulley by hand, it should turn nice and easy and smooth.

If it turns but takes some force to turn it, there very well could be a small article of clothing stuck in the pump intake jamming the pump.

Pop the pump hold down clips off and see if the pump will easily slide off the motor shaft, (hopefully it hasn't became rusted to the motor shaft as Samurai mentioned).

If you can get the pump free from the motor see if the motor then turns without a lot of force, (if after removing pump the motor turns free - you can put the belt back on and test, you will need to remove the pump hoses and remove whatever maybe in there that shouldn't be).

NO the pump works fine. It is the motor.
Seeing that this is a stack unit, is there a special way to take the motor off.
LIke take the drum out first or lay it down?
OR  should i be able to just take it out without anything special?

The Motor has a set of Start Windings and a set of Run Windings.

If they're both not getting power (at the right time) from the Timer Contacts, then the Motor may act as yours is.

Did you do the Motor Flow-Chart Diagnostics starting on PDF page 85 of the Service Manual posted earlier ?

Did you check the start capacitor for the motor?
