TE would be the Themistor.

Check to see if the Thermistor is mounted correctly (tight)

Check to see if the connectors are OK on the Thermistor and on the Control Board.

edited... I had LE should be TE

you could have a bad wire connection in the thermistor circuit.

probably should let the techs that broke it worse fix it back, i bet they messed up the hall sensor

thanks for the input guys , BTW is the Hall sensor in the thermistor circuit ?? or better yet , do one of you guys have a schematic of the thermistor circuit , sure would make it a lot easier to find those 3 wires than opening up that wire loom( black tape ) ...lol, i mean come on , seriously , you'd think this was the space shuttle , the way this one repair place keeps throwing parts at it .........thx again

here's LG Service Manuals

The WM2487 isn't listed, but most are somewhat similar

does the steam generator use the same thermistor as the sump? TE reffers to the sump thermistor like you found. if your problem returns cut out the connector at the sump thermistor and solder the wires together. I have had to do this on one machine. my machine was intermittently throwing the code though.
