Hi all,

I just joined this site and am pretty impressed with all the help available here.

Now to the issue at hand....

I have a 9 year old Frigidaire FWXB23RGS0 top loading washer which has been working like a champion until yesterday when I found the tub overflowing onto the floor and the basket still filling (luckily I was in the basement working out at the time or else we would have had quite a flood problem).  I rolled the dial to spin/drain which the tub drained successfully.

Sensing the karma wasn't all good I left the washer to rest and give its spirit time to heal.

This morning, thinking this may have been anomaly, I ran a small load and the leaking returned, this time before the tub actually was close to being filled.

My questions number two...

1. How can I get detailed instructions for removing the cabinet to take a look at what's going on?
2.  Is there a common problem that I can suspect this might be that I can look for once the cabinet is off (I know....find out where it's leaking first...duh)?

Bonus question....

**Am I screwed????

Domo, Tony

check your Water Level Pressure Switch behind the Control Panel

The hose may have come off.

Thanks.  I checked it and the hose is securely connected to the switch.  I presume I should also check the other end of the hose for a secure connection also?

If so I would also presume I'll need to remove the cabinet.

Edit:  I found the other end of the hose had come off the tub.  This was causing all the problems.  I replaced the connection and ran a load of clothes with no issues.

Thanks very much!  Your recommendation had me look in exactly the right place.
