Hello can some one please help i have a fisher paykel GW709, and the water level is not the same hight as new ? the water level pressure line hose is clear, no porbs there, and the spin speed seems not to be at full speed ? cold wash, but i could be crazy :D i have looked under the control panel but no error code book or diagnostics manual,

there is one more problem half way in the wash cycle the machine stops only for a second the wash cycle starts again, from the half way point on the display, the motor sound is the same sound as first wash start after filling the check for water sound?

can someone help please

Look for 2 things..

1) drain hose is going to a sink or drain that is too low. Drain height should be approx the same height as the washer.

2) the drain hose is shoved too far into the drain. This will cause a siphon effect and water will get sucked out of the wash tub. The same thing can happen if the drain is in a sink that drains slow. If the end of the drain hose is underwater, water can siphon in or out of the machine depending on their heights.

thanks, for the post,:)

The level of the drain hose is right there is no water siphon effect, i still think the level unit, control could be faulty, as the machine fills short of the level on the agitator,

when new came up to the marks, now say 8 Lt short fill approx, not using the auto fill just normal fill option.

this machine fills to a different level each time..its automatic  more clothes more water ,less, less. as the clothes absorbe the water the level adjusts for each load...

OK, with this in mind how is it when new (machine) and no clothes in the washer the water level fills to the levels on the agitator, even after the top up that is done by the machine, the level matches the levels on the agitator, now the machine is old 9 years, now the water fill is short on the agitator as much as a full bucket at times still no clothes, there is a chance that the level unit may be past its shelf life?

I don't see a Motor Speed (or tach) readout in the GW709 (Phase 5 model).
but it's listed as a Diagnostic Mode List in the Phase 6 model Service Manual.
