|
Need help!
I got a Kenmore Gas dryer there no heat, while the machine running Igniter turn red but there no flame, I thought Gas coils got bad and replaced them still not flame.
I need your expert beside Gas coils what parts got bad that cause no flame.

| If the igniter is cycling on and back off, and you replaced the coils and still no flame, sounds like the gas is not on, the valve went bad or something is blocking the gas flow inside of the valve, I would make sure there is gas to the valve first...

Sometimes moisture will get into the Gas Valve during storage, especially if the plastic cap is not re-installed over the Gas Line Stub.
You could try tapping on the Gas Valve while it's trying to light (if you can get to it).

How to check the gas valve, if you can tell gas that flow to the valve is not blocking.

Also ohm out your flame sensor located on top of burner housing or look to see if wire came of of sensor.Had one break off the other day.

I just got a new Gas valve today put it on and it up running and got flame.
