OK, THROUGH THE HELP OF OTHERS ON THIS WEBSITE I HAVE ISOLATED MY F06 PROBLEM TO MY MOTOR. I HAVE ORDERED A REPLACEMENT MOTOR PART NUMBER 8182793 AND AM WONDERING IF I SHOULD ATTEMPT THIS ONE MYSELF OR SUB IT OUT TO AN APPLIANCE REPAIR PROFESSIONAL. ANYONE KNOW OF A STEP BY STEP GUIDE FOR THIS REPAIR FOR A HOME REPAIR?

its not that hard. remove back panel, belt, wires to motor, one bolt that holds it on. rotate motor down and pull it out. when going back together put belt on motor first then rotate the big pulley around while holding the belt on it.
