I can not find this error code anywhere on the internet....
Maytag washer / dryer..... washer says "L" which is a lid lock error.... no problem there....
dryer says "E2" which i cannot look up. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

| Well not sure here, just remember reading somewhere possibly that E2 is the dryness selected in auto, like E1, E2 and E3 like the WP dryers use those * 's for more or less dry? This sound plausable? If this was a WP dryer that would mean a bad thermister...

i found the problem - its a faulty low voltage transformer
yeah i found the whirlpool codes but seems to be different from maytag

| E2 is a dryness selection on Maytag Stacks (original Maytag's LSE, LSG, SE & SG Models). E1, less dry, E2 normal dry, E3 more dry. They are the inteli-dry settings, not error codes.
