I can not find this error code anywhere on the internet....

Maytag washer / dryer..... washer says "L" which is a lid lock error....  no problem there....

dryer says "E2" which i cannot look up.     Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Well not sure here, just remember reading somewhere possibly that  E2 is the dryness selected in auto, like E1, E2 and E3 like the WP dryers use those * 's for more or less dry?  This sound plausable?  If this was a WP dryer that would mean a bad thermister...

E2 is a dryness selection on Maytag Stacks (original Maytag's LSE, LSG, SE & SG Models).  E1, less dry, E2 normal dry, E3 more dry.  They are the inteli-dry settings, not error codes.
