Well here is the deal  specs     maytag stacker   model  MLE2000AZW

Machine appears to wash clothes normal but after a wash cycle the clothes are sitting in water soaked......  I tried to set the timer manullly to spin  however when it gets to the "911 Turbo spin" cycle  it only spins real slow ...  It does try to spin fast after about 2 seconds it goes REEEL slow again..and then the washer stays in runninning mode and tries again to start turbo spin but yet again goes back to slow and eventually ends to where the cycle stops and the door ligh goes off and when you open it surprise full of suds!!

anyone one help me on this...Im a aviation tech I should be able to fix this....I hope?

I ran it though again and it seems in my mechanical mind that when it begins to start to spin fast it sounds like it may be un balanced and a SWITCH of some sort kicks to to slow mode..I have no idea if that is even possible but that is what it sounds like

yes, there's a few different ways they detect unbalance, as mentioned in the 132 page service manual.

Maytag's PDF files are not normally PDF searchable, unless run through an OCR program.

I could email the OCR searchable version of Maytag's PDF file to you.  4MB

sure  but how could it be unbalanced if there is almost nothing in the washer... I just washed 2 wash cloths and it kicked out of spin just when it started to make the whiring sound..4 seconds?... or is it thinking its unbalanaced....my email is vilzrod@persona.ca

thx

I don't know.

The unbalance control system is comprised of the inertial switch, outer tub displacement switch, strut displacement switch and a cabinet vibration sensor mounted to the machine control board. The three switches are wired in series on a 24 VDC circuit, monitored by the machine control board. The sensor is mounted on the machine control board.

And then there's the Tach Input Signal from the Motor that monitors the torque and speed variation of each revolution, could be caused by a bad switch, sensor, bad bearings in the motor/tub, ect.

You can jump each switch out individually until the unit spins to find your culprit.  The board is looking for a constant 24VDc feed back on the orange #40 wire for it to go into hi speed.  If it does not see it, it will just spin slow sounding like it wants to ramp up but wont.  Also, any loose connection between the source of the 24VDC (red # 23 wire on the board) and the return input (Orange #40) will do the same thing.  I have had many a loose connections on the stack units.  Also, I have had a lot of bad crimps on the front switch located at the 6 O'clock position right at the front of the tub.  Pull on the wires going into the terminals and make sure they do not come out.  IF they don't, start there, pull the wires off and jump them together and start it in spin, if she spins, bad switch, if not, move on to the next one.  Or if you have a meter, ohm it out or check for the 24VDC return to the board which is located in the dryer ceiling front right side.
