First post.  I have done a lot of searching and have pretty much narrowed it down to the Hall Sensor.

I have read conflicting info on whether I need the whole stator assembly or just part #6501KW2002A.  Can someone clear this up?

Second, when I run the test, the RPM reads 0.  Would the hall sensor affect this also?

Thanks

Matt

The hall sensor alone will usually remedy this issue.
In my past experiences this part goes because of overuse of soap or not using HE soap.  Be sure to use HE and you only need about 2 tablespoons of it.

When it go in  test mode does it spin? rotate back and fourth? or do you hear a scraping sound in a normal cycle? did you move the unit?

It is fixed now.  The sensor was the problem.  Order expedited from Sears and the part was on my doorstep the next day.  20 minutes of labor and now it runs great.  Thanks for your help

How does the "soap" get to the hall sensor?

The soap does not get to the hall sensor.
The extra load of sudzing overpowers the two resistors on the main board making them run hot and take out the hall sensor.
