Below is your breakdown. Check the lid switch #388. Raise lid, put in spin cycle and use a screwdriver to activate lid switch. OBTW be very careful when using this method because you are bypassing a safety feature! If the tub does not spin, disconnect power. and remove wires and do continuity check on switch. If switch has continuity, reconnect power and check voltage at switch. Check the mechanical operation of the switch to be sure it is working properly. If all of these are good, slowly turn the knob and advance the spin cycle one click at a time. Post back.

yes
Does it agitate in both the slow & fast speed cycle settings ?
Does it spin in any of the other cycle settings ?
It could be a bad contact in the timer.

It does not spin in any of other cycle.
It could be the Timer problem that you have said ,Cause I did replace the switch but not heip .

| Ge also uses the pressure switch to tell timer its ok to spin, this means the water level has to get to a low enough level before it allows the motor to go into spin. thats why when the water reaches a certain level it goes into spin, but when water creeps back into the pressure dome (little box on side of tub), from spinning, it immeditalty stops spinning and waits till water level goes down again, it can do that several times till water level no longer reaches pressure dome. what could be happening is water is being traped in the dome by old clumpy soap or the switch is not working. one way to test is to dissconnect the hose to the pressure dome and see if it will spin then or check the voltage from the pressure switch to the timer. there are 3 connectors to it. ones always hot, one tells system there isnt enough water so keep filling and the other tells the timer the water level is low enough to spin. the schematic is located in the upper console after you remove the four screws located at the top of the console. good luck
