I bought the propane conversion, that is suposed to come with directions. It says install orific, turn valve, Way to go LG! I work on all kinds of equipment, and even build custom machinery, so my friends & neibors turn to me even when they shouldn't. My neighbor bought the dryer from Home depot, after she got it home I said to check if it is set-up for propane, wow the fun begins; Home depot: "don't do that" Propane distributer: " we don't do appliances" Appliance shop: "don't sell that brand, call the Manufacturer." Manufacturer: "find licenced?? appliance repair shop, then have them call us & then we will sell them the parts." Action taken by neihbor; Call local machine guy tell him story, have him save day. Well to keep up my reputation, as the "will help anyone, anytime, for no compensation Guy", I took the job. I found an on-line site that would sell me the kit, but then they called to tell me they could only send it by truck frieght? so $32.00 shipping for UPS Ground & I got the 1oz. $17.00 part. looked at the posts here, (I have converted other propane appliances in the past, and repaired many older model electric dryers), and I understand the orifice & valve changes, but as I have not yet re-visited the Dryer, "box of pre-eminance, and wonder". 1. Which panel is best removed to get to the burner? 2. How many screws? (I try not to loose more than 50% on any 1 job) As a side note, if any one is realy bothered by a particular appliance I build a machine I call the can-a-baler, that compacts cans with 175 tons to reduce them to a more compliant form. Thank you . John

You’ll have to remove the top plate and front cover to change the orifice. Unscrew 2 screws on the back of the top plate.
