This is a one year old Cabrio, These problems started after about six months and then started working fine until now. You have to hold the lid down until the cycle starts or error LiD will show up. if you try to start again it may get the DL error and then the machine will not power up at all. Have to un plug for awhile and reboot sometimes that doesnt work right away, have to keep playing with the power button until it finally comes on. Im very familiar with standard or older washers with timers but this new one with the computer is wacked, Any Ideas

my idea is to sell unit to the highest bidder. if that doesn't happen then there are multiple problems with these machines,f51 error codes, bad agitators and controls, tub rings that leak yadda yadda yadda. you may want to take the chance and call for service problem may be the control unit control may be under warranty you pay for labor. i feel sorry for people with these units that have problems.

I believe the machine is 13 months old now and out of warranty, I was really hoping someone might have had the same issues and could point me in the right direction. Its an $800 machine, Hate to junk it Thanks, Drewtick

Thanks for the Manual, I see that it has a lot of info and trouble shooting test relating to the problem. I will be taring it down this weekend. Thanks, Drewtick

Looks like the whole LID ASSY need to be changed W10183520 for black. The factory changed the part number 3 times as of today, I think it's a very common problem. Lid switch seems to be original. IMHO.

Thanks for that reply. what happened was the lid became sightly warped so that the magnet in the front was to far from the reed switch. As a work around I took a small flat magnet and glued underneath the front of the lid over the area where the internal magnet is and it works great. still sometimes have the problem with no power up have to unplug for awhile then press power button 4 or 5 times.
