Hi,

I need help.  I have just replaced the control board on my machine (Frigidaire GLTF2940ES1) and also replaced the door latch in hopes this would fix the problem of no final spin.  Still not working and running the diagnostics I get E43 which is replace the control board but like I said I just did this.

Also when I run the diagnostic test I can not get it to final spin in the diagnostic mode where as prior to replacing the board I could get it to spin fast.  Any and all help is needed and appreciated.

Family of 6 with a growing pile of dirty laundry-I am sure some can relate.  Thank you.

Greg

there is a wiring harness to the speed board that gets pinched by the tub going off balance

its the one with the thin wires, when looking through the back panel, look for where the tub would hit the speed board and right between there is where the engineers routed the smallest wires in the machine

look for pinched of broken wires

caution!!!!! the edge around that opening is as sharp as a rasor, i suggest placing black tape all around the edge on that side

Thanks Burnt Toast, I read that also in a thread of days gone by and was hoping that this would by my problem but I did not see anything suspicious.  I will check agian for the specific small wires you spoke of.
I am getting confused on the nomenclature of the machine.  There is a control panel for the motor in the lower corner of the back of the case correct, is this also the speed control panel??  I was thinking the speed control was in the console of the machine in front.  Please help me on this one.
I have just ordered a new "up top, forward control panel" which I am thinking is the speed control.  I have previously replaced the door switch and the motor control board, that is the lower back corner control panel.
We just blew another $40 bucks at the laundry yesterday trying to keep the kids in clean clothes.  Ouch this thing is eating me alive.

On my next purchase should I look for another more reliable brand of machine?

Thanks for the only reply Burnt Man I appreciate the effort and time.

Thanks,
Greg

i guess over the years i have not changed the names of some parts that frigidaire has

the control board is the front panel where you input commands

inside the cabinet on the bottom is the speed board, also called motor control board or SCU(speed control unit)

receck connections on your speed board, the one connector with the small wires has no locking tab and likes to come loose
