got a call from the wife one day while working she asked "were you home today?" "what did you do?" i answer "no, and why?" she says "the house wreeks like rotten eggs" so i say "natural gas smells like rotten eggs, you and the kids GET OUT" i rush home, sure enough, rotten eggs, so i call the gas company and they send someone right over, their guy walks in and says, yup thats gas, gets out his sniffer and nothing, NADA on his meter through the whole house, he checked everywhere 3 times, then decided it has to be sewer gas or something, and he leaves i spent the next couple hours sniffing floor drains, washer drains, the dishwasher, sinks, not its no stronger at any of them then i found it, in a room with no plumbing or gas lines some dummy had forgotten a car battery on trickle charge for several weeks even the best person having their best day can still make a mistake Last edited on Sat Nov 20th, 2010 02:15 am by BrntToast ____________________ The only stupid question is the one not asked hope i've been helpfull, if you wish to buy Brnt beer kick here http://brnttoast.googlepages.com/home feel free to prvt msg frigidaire questions my way (i dont log in every day) |
