we recently started samsung warranty and i have to say they are a real piece of work

2 major issues right now are with apartment sized dryers...

i have a dv4006 that needs the drum support and glides, samsung has sent 2 supports out with no glides on it, along with the second support they sent me the felt and told us thats the glide :(

ive explained the glide is not listed on their site, but it is definitly supposed to be on the drum support( ive seen them on other units and saw what was left of one on the unit i am trying to order them for)

so samsung has now replied that i most be mistaken and they will not look any further unless i can provide a picture of said part???  and this was their tech support guy that told me this

i also have another of these dryers that is missing its motor pulley, again 2 motors later(sent without pulleys) this customer has been without a dryer for a month now

all I could find for the Glides may be

Assy gasket pad (2) req'd
Number:
DC97-07618A
Substitution:
DC97-10355C

but seems now it's about $180 and may be part of the Drum assy.

some info:
Samsung Frontier Dryer

Samsung Clothes Dryer Service Manual

What can you expect from a company that can't even use good quality screws in their products. How many screws have you broken the center off trying to get into one of their fetid piles of dung?

Frigidaire comes to mind when you say bad screws. Especially on the sealed burner gas cooktops, and the front panel screws on the top load washers.
