All the parts I make real money on come from Mid-Atlantic Parts. Andy, Jean and Dolly truly are the best at what they do. Call them before 3pm Mon-thurs and I will have it the next day at noon.
I buy most of other big 4 (3?) stuff from All-Brand Appliance Parts in PA. My guy there Jim Dugan takes really good care of me.
Automatic Appliance Parts in Chicago is my source for the BSH parts I infrequently need. They seem to know Thermador better than anyone else I have dealt with and I don't like making three trips for a job.
I buy lots of LG parts from ...LG and lots of Fishy-Pickle parts from, you guessed it, Fishy-Pickle. Because I have no choice.

Right on Scotthewolf, I have used APwagner for a lot of years and they are very carefull to supply the correct part and they seem allways to have even the most un-common parts available. They have their own website also.
I also like McCombs supply in Scranton, Pa. They have a catalog . I have never found a source with better prices, and they constantly have sales on a lot of items. I just bought a Whirlpool dryer motor there Pn 279827 for $41.75; sale good till Feb 17th.
I gotta say I love the Sears.com site for their appliance breakdown diagrams.
The ones I dislike are the hard to use ones that have higher prices.

It would be a good idea to at least check the prices at Sears sometimes.
Some of there items sell for less then my wholesaler, (Marcone), charges.
Good example is the Whirlpool Duet door latch assembly. Just last year in November I purchased one from Marcone and it was only $17.71 which was less then Sears price, but now Marcone wants $37.65 + shipping unless I do at least a $99 order. Sears is still only $32.88 with shipping, (as long as you have the option to wait 4 to 5 days for it to arrive).

As servicers we really need to look at the bigger picture! While a good wholesaler will help a lot, our goals should be to earn a decent wage, build up our business and most importantly, to save our customers grief and money.
This, sometimes is hard to do but we should try. The entire service business for us and all is dependent on us providing a service where we ALL feel good about our performance. I have personally reflected on a botched repair or one that was unfair or unprofessional and called back the customer and made the repair better in some way. However this is not allways possible!
I personally feel the servicers who overcharge or provide a poor service are loosing market share and actually, in many areas, destroying the service market. No need to mention who is doing this.

AP Wagner for most stuff. Sears Commercial for some things, mostly electronic boards (have to compare, though-- not always a great deal and they're slow to send out parts). For most high-end stuff, I use RepairClinic.com.

If we have to pay say $75 for a dryer motor and charge say $75 to put it in,many of my customers will balk at the price and throw it away.
Sooo can anyone find a good wholesaler that can match McCombs price of $41.75 for a Whilrpool dryer motor???

I just bought a 279827 from All-Brand for $39.50 and with no additional shipping as it was part of a +$200 stock order. If you find a small outfit and always work with the same guy you will get better prices.
Getting to be where the only dryer motors I do are for the Home Warranty companies. The only Frigidaire dryer motors I replace are for Electrolux ESA, those things are wicked expensive and I tell people over the phone that it might not even be worth my trip out. I prefer fixing things to being priced out but I like it even better when they go buy a Whirlpool dryer without having to pay me first.

Thanks Acc App. I checked their web site but was uninspired. I really like McCombs as they have a handy dandy catalog with lots of parts and ALLWAYS have a lot of stuff on sale. Also APwagner has parts look up and a easy to use web site, more important than saving a few dollars on parts.

I use the one in Wichita Kansas..Washer Specailities ..but just for certain stuff like ice makers on sale for #35.00...1-800-835-1010 http://www.wsconet.com
My main suppliers are Greer Appliance Parts in Oklahoma and Appliance Parts Depot in Texas and surrounding states.....Greer and APDepot both have on line ordering and appliance breakdowns .....Wash Sp has on line ordering but getting thru their site is like pulling teeth.....

Their website reeks as far as lookups or ordering goes. It is great for looking up my invoices for Frigidaire warr claims, etc.

| As Ms. Pegi said Wichita , Kansas...they sell alot of aftermarket stuff, but if you watch and check some of their OEM stuff is dirt cheap. Alot lower than most of the Big name bunch. usually in March -April they run their big sale and you can stock up and save $$$$$$$

I took a look at McCombs website and they look to be just about like Washer Specialties. They both have the same( Armstrong Supply) handbook that they distribute, and same style flyers.
