If it will make but not dispense ice is the auger motor running?? If so you have something broken in the ice bin probably. If it does not run the auger motor could be out or getting no voltage from the disp board. If the paddle does not turn the ice maker off and is allowing the bucket to over fill there is replacement paddle with a beveled down edge to address this overfill problem. And the "model " number of the frig would let us see what sort of set up is in this box????? I posted this on another forum that has not been looked at so I'm trying here. Where can I find the complete recall for the GE GSH25JFRE-CC? I may have a problem that it covers. I have an IM6 I/M that will not dispense ice. When the dispense lever is pushed, the convenience light dims and nothing happens. However, if I disconnect the solenoid for the ice chute door and open the door manually, the ice dispenses normally. Is that a PCB fault or the Solenoid?

Just an update FYI, I had GE Service come out and the tech told me that this is a very common problem and he replaced the motherboard @ no charge in about 15 minutes. When I called GE they denied any problems and told me I would have to pay for the service call. Director

They are trained to "have no clue"...cannot let the public know their GE or whatever brand appliance might have a problem..
