Hi,

I have a GE Potscrubber 650 that doesn't fully drain.  At the end of the rinse cycle there is always some water left.  This causes the plastic drain filter and the area around it to grow black mold.

Any ideas?  Timer somehow not running long enough?  I don't believe that anything is clogged or blocked.

Thanks

? Put it back to the drain position and see it will finish emptying. Possible restricted drain line?

I don't believe that there is any blockage at all in any of the tubing.

Don't believe or don't know?
Please take the hose off the sink drain and put it in a 5 gallon bucket so you can watch what happens on the drain cycle. It should come out rather strong and fast - maybe not like a garden hose but in thirty seconds it should empty the tub and continue to pump out a bit more until it is empty.
It is a matter of logic. What you observe and report is most helpful to a serviceman. Tell him to replace the drain pump and you are fish bait.
