Hi,

My 2 month old LG dishwasher (LDS5811BB) is giving me an error code "EO" (clogged or kinked drain hose). Looks like the hose is neither kinked nor glogged.

Any ideas? Thanks a lot!

Not sure, we have seen only one of these so far, I would be calling for warranty service...assume you removed the hose to see if there was something inside...and nothing is blocking it at the disposal connection?

Could be debris in the drain pump locking it up. Expect your warranty servicer to charge you to clear it.

Can you hear the drain pump running? Do you see water draining out when it should?

I moved the dishwasher yesterday to check the drain hose again (it looked all clear). I managed to empty the stagnant water inside and found no debris (and I loved that part! Nothing beats some dirty, smelly, soapy water after you come home from work)

I started a rinse cycle (quick one: 15 minutes). Everything worked like a charm...NOT! At the last minute I heard the pump working trying to discharge the water but no water came out and the magic code showed up again (OE).

Now the diswasher is again filled with stagnant water.

The technician will show up in 10 days.

I have no idea if there is a clog and where the clog is at this point.

Try disconnecting the drain hose at its connection to the drain and sucking it out with a Shop-Vac. Got nothing to lose now.
