First, where do I send my beer money contribution?  My model number has worn off the sticker on the inside..but the "helpful" folks at sears told me : 253.60721000

The fridge is fridge only. No freezer. 16.7 cubic feet.  3 years old, never moved, level, and clean. Back is completely sealed..no coils showing.. Underneath, nothing I can see to fiddle with behind the plastic grill.

Problem:  thermostat set at 6 out of possible 7 and temp is 40-41 degrees F.  I allowed 12 hours to check temp after adjusting therm.  I do see the bottom of the door seal isn't snug.  I am hoping that is all there is to it, and I'd like the cheapest source for replacement part.  Otherwise, the fan/etc sound normal, not running overtiime.  Husband is complaing big time about "beverages" not cold enough.

I can handle any repair.  Funny story:  I replaced my garbage disposal by myself, and didn't realize I could give the unit a slight turn to hold it in place while I screwed it in, so I held the monster up with one hand and screwed it in with other, with my face right under it....talk about isometric muscle tone, I got it baby.

Thank you

These doors will often have a tendency to "tweak" a little, and leave a slight gap. Try bending the top outwards slightly while holding the bottom closed with your foot. The gasket can also be adjusted a little with some MODERATE heat from a hair dryer.

If you do need the gasket , it runs around $56, available through our parts partner RepairClinic.com at the top of the page. Buying from them helps support this site. Their item number is 446557.
