I have a GE Dishwasher (GSD2020Z04BB), and this past weekend this dial has stopped moving during the wash. The machine runs, the water fills and splashes around inside, but the dial does not move on to the next cycle. Is this the "dishwasher timer"? I used the part finder link on this website repairclinic.com and found item #271324. Could this be the problem? Any help would be great. Thank you, Sean

It could be the problem. Verify your timer motor is getting 110 volts and not advancing before you order and install the timer.

Ezzacly. To get to the timer, you'll need to pull the door apart. Be sure to shut off the circuit breaker first! You can also check the timer motor for continuity-- no power applied, safer test. Help on making simple electrical tests here.
